Electrical Engineer – Design & Engineering

Would you like to see your drawings become real systems that handle live fish, both locally and around the world? Cflow develops and delivers systems for gentle fish handling in aquaculture and wild-capture fisheries. We are now looking for an electrical engineer to join our automation team in Langevåg, Norway.

About the role

You will design the electrical solutions for our projects, from the initial drawings through to the system being operational at the customer’s site. You will work closely with our lab, testing and production teams, allowing you to see how your solutions perform in practice.

We welcome applicants with several years of experience as well as those early in their careers. Your responsibilities will be adapted to your experience. You will report to the VP Automation.

Your responsibilities

• Design electrical solutions, including drawings and documentation
• Take responsibility for the electrical scope of your projects, according to your experience
• Prepare procurement specifications together with Supply Chain
• Deliver manuals and updated as-built documentation
• Support customers, service teams and production with troubleshooting and commissioning
• Contribute to effective, reusable solutions across projects

We are looking for someone with

• Education in electrical engineering or automation, such as a bachelor’s degree, master’s degree or technical college qualification, or equivalent experience
• Good Norwegian and English language skills
• A category B driving licence

An advantage, but not a requirement

• Familiarity with electrical CAD tools, preferably E3.series, EPLAN or AutoCAD Electrical. We will provide training in E3
• Familiarity with pneumatics, hydraulics or P&IDs
• Experience with PLC, SCADA or HMI systems
• Experience in the maritime, aquaculture or process industries
