About the job

Constructor's ML Infrastructure team builds the shared backend services that let every other team develop, deploy and run machine learning at scale, including LLM model serving and the data pipelines behind it.

What you will do

- Design, build and operate high-load distributed backend services for ML infrastructure

- Own core ML services and data pipelines from design through deployment and continuous improvement

- Partner with ML and product teams to turn their needs into reusable platform capabilities

- Make technical decisions from trade-off analysis, and defend them

What you bring

- 5+ years in backend or platform engineering

- Deep Python

- Hands-on cloud (AWS, GCP or Azure) or self-managed Kubernetes

- Distributed, high-load service and API design

- Strong data structures and algorithms, and a design-first approach

Nice to have: Rust, C++, C or Go; ML platform experience; vector databases; model serving and inference infrastructure; Terraform.

Fully remote - Constructor lets you choose where you live. Base salary plus stock options.
