ServiceNow Developer

Nordic Investin is recruiting a ServiceNow Developer on behalf of one of our partner companies. You want to develop ServiceNow as a serious enterprise platform, with clean configuration, useful automation and code that remains supportable.

The partner operates a large ServiceNow environment that supports customer delivery and internal work. You will join an agile team developing existing capabilities and introducing new modules at a steady pace.

The work spans organisational boundaries and requires both technical understanding and disciplined communication. Decisions must remain useful when they reach delivery teams, suppliers and operational owners.

You will work across teams with different incentives, technical histories and decision rights. The partner expects concise preparation, visible dependencies and follow through after meetings. Strong performance means that people understand what was decided, why it matters and what they now own.

You will receive meaningful ownership while working with senior colleagues on the most consequential decisions. The partner expects you to deliver independently within a clear area, ask for context early and contribute ideas grounded in what you observe. There is room to deepen your specialism or broaden toward adjacent responsibilities.

• Configure and develop workflows, forms and business logic.

• Build integrations using APIs, IntegrationHub and platform capabilities.

• Create maintainable scripts and scoped applications.

• Write automated tests and support controlled releases.

• Investigate platform issues and performance concerns.

• Collaborate with process owners and translate needs into platform solutions.

• Professional ServiceNow development experience.

• JavaScript and platform scripting ability.

• Knowledge of data models, ACLs and application scope.

• Experience with integrations and REST APIs.

• Understanding of agile delivery and source control practices.

• Professional English; Swedish is required for some partner environments.

• ITSM, CSM, HRSD or another major ServiceNow module.

• ServiceNow certifications.

• Experience in a large multi department installation.

Your background may be platform administration, JavaScript development, IT service management or consulting. The partner values developers who understand the process impact of a change and resist unnecessary customisation.

You will work on a mature platform with an ambitious roadmap and experienced colleagues. The role provides variety across configuration, code, integration and direct business collaboration.

The exact partner, employment model, compensation, start date and working arrangement will be explained openly during the process. Nordic Investin will make sure you understand the context, expectations and decision path before you are asked to commit significant time.

During the process, Nordic Investin will focus on concrete decisions you have made: the context you received, the alternatives you considered, the result you observed and what you would change today. You do not need every optional technology if your core experience transfers and you can explain how you would close the gap.
