The Role

We are hiring a Senior Creative Director to own the creative bar at Legora — sitting at the intersection of brand and marketing, and making sure everything we put into the world looks, sounds, and feels like one company with one point of view.

Legora's brand is one of our sharpest differentiators in a category that mostly looks and sounds the same. This role exists to protect that edge and scale it: setting the visual and verbal identity, translating it into campaigns that drive pipeline, and raising the craft bar across every team that touches creative output — brand, product marketing, growth, and events.

The ideal candidate has spent close to a decade building and running creative for ambitious brands, moving fluidly between the strategic (what should this brand stand for, and why) and the hands-on (what does this campaign, page, or deck actually look like). They know how to hold a high bar without becoming a bottleneck, and how to make craft a competitive advantage rather than a nice-to-have.

What You'll Do

Brand identity: Set the standard for Legora's visual and verbal identity— ensuring consistency and distinctiveness across every surface, from product to campaigns to partnerships.

Creative direction: Set the creative vision for major campaigns and launches, translating positioning and strategy into work that's sharp, memorable, and on-brand.

Cross-functional partnership: Sitting within the Brand team, work closely across all parts of Marketing and across other parts of the organisation to make sure external content and creative output serves both brand-building and pipeline goals.

Team and process: Build and lead a small, high-craft creative function — whether that's in-house talent, freelancers, or agency partners — and put a review process in place that raises the bar without slowing the team down.

Campaign creative: Direct creative for integrated campaigns, launches, and partnerships (including high-profile brand partnerships), from concept through execution.

Design systems: Together with the Head of Design, maintain and extend Legora's design systems and brand guidelines so the identity scales cleanly as the company grows.

Storytelling: Push Legora's creative work beyond category convention — legal tech doesn't have to look or sound like legal tech.

What You Bring

• 8+ years in creative roles spanning brand and marketing, with real experience owning creative direction end-to-end
• 
  
• A portfolio that shows range — brand systems, campaign creative, and the strategic thinking that connects them
• 
  
• Experience building or scaling a creative function, including managing designers, writers, and external partners
• 
  
• Comfort operating at both altitudes: setting brand strategy and getting hands-on with the work when it matters
• 
  
• A sharp eye and the conviction to defend it — you can explain why a piece of work is right, not just that it feels right
• 
  
• Experience in high-growth B2B or enterprise environments; AI, tech, or professional services a plus
• 
  
• Operates with conviction in ambiguous environments and doesn't need a large support structure to produce great work
