Forming part of the Biotechnology segment at Danaher, we bring together dedicated technical expertise and talent to develop the next generation of life-changing therapeutics. The Manufacturing Quality Engineer at Cytiva provides technical support to improve product quality, with a focus on data analysis, issue resolution, and continuous improvement. This role is responsible for driving the non-conforming material process and supporting root cause investigations by coordinating with Production Engineers, Quality Specialists, Supplier Quality Engineers, affected project teams, and manufacturing suppliers.

This position is part of the Custom Engineering Manufacturing team and located in Uppsala. At Cytiva, our vision is, to advance future therapeutics from discovery to delivery.

• Ownership of the Deviation handling process • Coordinate and document manufacturing quality issues to ensure clear ownership, effective follow-up, and timely resolution. • Coordinate resources to support problem-solving and rework activities in ongoing production for manufacturing quality-related issues. • Lead analysis of supplier deviations and quality follow up with suppliers • Collaborate with Supplier Quality, Global Sourcing, and other cross-functional teams on manufacturing quality-related topics. • Conduct root cause analysis for product quality issues, identify trends, and coordinate with Supplier Quality Engineers, Production Engineering, and Global Sourcing to drive resolution and submit improvement proposals to the Change Control Board. • Manage non-conforming material inventory to ensure accurate control, follow-up, and disposition. • Support the customer complaints team by contributing manufacturing quality expertise and follow-up as needed.

Who you are: • Technical knowledge of manufacturing processes • Quality focus • Strong communication skills, verbal and written • Experience from production or design of work of products for the Biopharmaceutical industry • Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in: • Quality management, NC/CAPA process • ISO9001:2015
