About the Role

You will help evolve a business-critical application used by engineering teams across a large international product development environment. The focus is on building modern, accessible, secure, and responsive user experiences that make everyday work simpler for around 16,000 users worldwide.

This is a hands-on role where you combine strong frontend engineering with a broader product mindset. You will shape frontend design decisions, contribute to sustainable engineering standards, and support the team across the full product lifecycle. It is a great opportunity to influence both the user experience and the technical direction of a global solution.

Job Description

• You will develop and maintain complex web applications with a modern frontend approach and contribute hands-on code in the daily work.
• You will design interfaces that are usable, responsive, accessible, secure, and performant.
• You will influence frontend architecture, design choices, and engineering practices that help the team work sustainably over time.
• You will collaborate closely with software engineers, the solution architect, Scrum Master, and Product Owner in a cross-functional product team.
• You will contribute across the team’s backlog, including exploration, development, testing, maintenance, support, documentation, and incident resolution.
• You will share knowledge through feedback, coaching, and practical examples, and help colleagues grow in their day-to-day work.
• You will occasionally support selected backend tasks when needed and contribute with a T-shaped mindset that helps the whole product team succeed.

Requirements

• Proven ability to develop and maintain complex web applications using a modern frontend framework such as React or Angular together with TypeScript.
• Experience with automated build, test, and deployment workflows using Azure and GitHub Actions.
• Ability to design usable, responsive, accessible, and performant user interfaces.
• Understanding of secure-by-design practices for web applications.
• Experience working in an agile, cross-functional software team.
• Ability to communicate effectively in spoken and written English in an international working environment.
• Willingness to share knowledge and contribute across the team’s workload when needed.
• Ability to complete a background check before the assignment starts.

Nice to have

• Experience with Web Components and styling approaches such as Bootstrap, CSS-in-JS, Styled Components, or Tailwind.
• Experience with UX practices such as Lean UX and Design Thinking.
• Experience with asynchronous programming, microservice architecture, cloud services, or test-automation frameworks.
• Backend development experience, particularly Java and the Spring framework.
• Experience designing and consuming REST APIs.
• Broader experience in application architecture, DevOps, or system development.
