Head Bartender to Sally's på Sheraton Stockholm

We are now looking for a passionate Head Bartender to lead the operation in our lobby bar Sally’s and everything related to cocktails, spirits and drink experiences.   For this role, we are looking for someone who is detail oriented, creative and an experienced leader. You are an unpretentious team player who has a passion for service to exceed our guests' expectations.   As Head Bartender, you will run one of the most unique concepts of the hotel and an essential part of the hotel’s experience and guest journey.    Main responsibilities:

• To overview the hotel’s bar operations. This is mostly in Sally’s but also includes any bar activities in our restaurant Mr. Bronck as well as the conference floor.
• To daily supervise the bar team in the service of quality food & beverage products to customers assuring the quality of their experience.
• To develop the beverage program of the hotel (spirits, beer, cocktails) with the assistance of the Head of Restaurant & Bar.
• To create seasonally a diverse and enticing signature cocktail menu (inc. Non Alcoholic), that displays high level of mixology and brings the concept to life.
• To develop unique service moments as well as the sub-concepts of the American Aperitif after-work and the Sunday brunch.
• To develop a spirit list that is suitable for a 5 star hotel with a focus on American spirits as well as a beer list focused on craft American products.
• To coach/train all bar team members and assure product quality and service standards are being followed at all times.
• To perform admin duties such as scheduling, ordering and inventory control as requested by the Head of Restaurant & Bar.
• To lead all bar events (self-hosted as well as planned from clients) from planning to execution together with the Head of Restaurant & Bar.
• To develop strategic concept partnerships with suppliers together with the Head of Restaurant & Bar.
• Support the recruitment process of new team members.
• To assure guest requests and problems are taken care of in a manner that follows the hotel’s, policies and ways of working.
• Ensure the look and feel of the bar areas in terms of music level, lights, furniture and cleanliness is always kept to our standards

  Qualifications: You have an outgoing personality who has an easy way communicating with and charming guests. Service is your passion and you have a genuine love for food and beverage. You are ambitious and interested in working in a high-pace environment with great standards.

• You have at least 4 years experience working in a similar position at a high-end restaurant and/or hotel where you had responsibility to lead a team.
• Structure and good organizational skills.
• Extensive knowledge of beverage (cocktails, spirits, beer, wine).
• Strong connections in the bar industry with suppliers and other bars.
• Ability to work unsupervised, pro-actively and with high professional ethics.
• Able to communicate verbally in English, additional languages is a plus.
• Ability to motivate and inspire teams.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on guests needs and expectations.
